Overview
MSS's current 6 year WASC accreditation was granted in February 2021 and will end in July 2027. The WASC Self-Study Report will be prepared at the end of this accreditation term during application for the next accreditation term.
The Self Study report will describe the efforts MSS has taken in the second half of this term (May 23, 2024 to June 30, 2027). During this time, MSS will address
- issues described in the MSS Mid-Cycle Report (May 2024)
- issues described in the Visiting Committee Mid-Cycle Report (June 2024)
- the WASC Focus On Learning (FOL) Self-Study Process Guide.
- any other issues identified during the next three years.
Work Outline
- Implement the Revised/Refined Action Plan from the Mid-Term Report
- Address the issues identified in the Visiting Committee Mid-Cycle Report.
- Continue any Ongoing Projects
- Continue working on the accreditation criteria and on WASC FOL
- Document everything and have info and data ready for the team to work on the Self-Study Report in 2027
